2. Cutoff Scores
The top 50% of British participants will be awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals in a 1:2:3 ratio. Chinese students will be awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals based on the UK student cutoff scores. Students receiving Gold, Silver, or Bronze medals will receive certificates, and all participating students will receive an electronic participation certificate.
Students who perform satisfactorily in the JMC will be invited/can participate independently in the Junior Kangaroo Challenge.
Students who perform well in the JMC will also be invited/can participate independently in the Junior Mathematical Olympiad.

2. Award Criteria:
The top 50% of UK students will be awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals in a 1:2:3 ratio. Chinese students will be awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals based on the UK student award criteria. Students receiving Gold, Silver, or Bronze medals will receive certificates, and all participating students will receive an electronic participation certificate. Students who perform well in the IMC will be invited to participate in the Grey and Pink Kangaroos challenge. Students who perform well in the IMC will also be invited to participate in the intermediate-level Mathematical Olympiads (Cayley/Hamilton/Maclaurin Mathematical Olympiads).

According to test data released by the UKMT-SMC China branch, the national score distribution is mainly concentrated between 70-74 points. The full score is 125 points, and the national average score is 77.06 points.
Students from North China, West China, East China, South China, and Central China averaged between 72-79 points, indicating that the overall academic level of participating students is relatively high.
2. Award Criteria Determination
The top 66% of UK students are awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals in a 1:2:3 ratio. Chinese students are awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals based on the UK student award criteria.
Students who perform well in the SMC may be invited to participate in the Andrew Jobbings Senior Kangaroo competition, or participate independently.
